被牙医坑了怎么办

What to do when getting fcuked over by a dentist

I had a cavity treatment without being informed of any risk. That tooth started hurting, had to get a root canal & crown. I suffered from moderate pain for 3 months, almost maxed out the dental premium, and I somehow decided I can still trust this dentist.

Same thing happened after another cavity treatment: again I was not informed of any risk  and the cavity was not deep at all. Only this time I was in severe pain after the treatment. So I talked to the dentist asking if I can get a cash discount and get it treated before January (due to maxed out dental insurance). The dentist agreed on the phone, helped move my root canal appointment. But for my second root canal I was billed an amount x8 times higher.

To summarize:

So with 0 warning, I had more than 6 dental visits this year, was in pain for 5 months (severe pain for 2 months), maxed out my dental insurance, spent $900 out of pocket, and still left with $1000+ debt. Oh and I'm still in freaking pain. All because a dentist decided that it's better for me to get two cavity treated.

And they can just get away with it by one sentence:” ohh this is unexpected due to you personal oral dynamics”  

WTF? I mean WTF?

What can I do? Please help.

洗牙我觉得没啥技术含量还是可以做的
不过今年的补牙的经历真的要被气死了哎
而且感觉牙医都是一个society完全是互相包庇，都说这是个random的事件，我都不知道去哪里投诉

明明就打算补个牙 花了这么多钱受了好几个月罪
一般牙医的malpractice好像都不太好定，问了被refer去的医生也是一口咬定肯定不是补牙出的问题
哎 不知道地里有没有人argue账单argue成功的，真是气不过

刚准备约根管，看到你的帖子有点害怕..

我的根管做完也疼。。当时刚刚大一非常憨，不知道应该直接去找牙医理论。后来回国一看就是神经没杀死二次感染了，气！
