F1能申请real ID吗

可能各个州不一样吧。加州是可以，我考驾照就问我要不要合在一起。

NY 2年前用H1B成功换领到real ID，DMV 没有半句废话。

MA上次去DMV更新驾照顺便问了一下，好像是可以

如果你是non-immigrate visa holder，仅仅是为了在米国境内坐飞机，其实没有必要纠结有没有real ID。还有其他证件可以坐飞机，等同于real ID。TSA官网说明如下：Adult passengers 18 and over must show valid identification at the airport checkpoint in order to travel.

Driver's licenses or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles (or equivalent)
Beginning May 3, 2023, if you plan to use your state-issued ID or license to fly within the U.S., make sure it is REAL ID compliant.  

• U.S. passport
• U.S. passport card
• DHS trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST)
• U.S. Department of Defense ID, including IDs issued to dependents
• Permanent resident card
• Border crossing card
• State-issued Enhanced Driver’s License
• An acceptable photo ID issued by a federally recognized, Tribal Nation/Indian Tribe
• HSPD-12 PIV card
• Foreign government-issued passport
• Canadian provincial driver's license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada card
• Transportation worker identification credential
• U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Authorization Card (I-766)
• U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential
• Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)
