H4 extension 4月3号就approved了，至今没收到approval notice

地里有朋友遇到过这种情况吗？

我是1月份换工作transfer H1B, 太太跟着renew H4。1月21file, 2月13打指纹，4月3号approved，但至今没有收到approval notice（nebraska center - 中间知道移民局因为疫情关门了所以试着保持耐心）。在uscis网站filed an inquiry, 收到回复说让file I-824并且交$465 (In order for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to resend an Approval Notice that was not returned to our offices, it is necessary to complete a Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, along with the correct fees and original signature)。跟律师咨询过，律师说如果是mail没有被送到，那我们就不需file 824和交费。给移民局打过多次电话询问未送到原因，但根本没有办法chat with live person，全是aumomated call system (看uscis官网，他们12月15更新了电话系统，之前的1-1-2-2不管用了）。

太太的H4 EAD 明年8月就要到期了所以要准备renew，但没有approval notice就没法renew。。。

地里有朋友遇到过这种情况吗？8个月没收到approval notice也太夸张了，不知道是不是疫情的原因uscis或usps mess up了。另外有人最近两周跟uscis live person聊过吗？新的系统貌似根本没有办法转人工

这也太夸张了，一般一个月没收到notice就应该问询，楼主拖太久了。
现在看看能不能联系议员帮忙解决，或者交钱做824了。

LZ心真大，这么久才去要receipt。Emma直接输live chat有机会转人工。另外，USCIS网上可以request receipt，直接Google uscis lost receipt 。

谢谢，因为当时USCIS关门就想着再等等，后来时间一长再加上工作很忙就耽搁了。。。有试过request notice, uscis的邮件回复说：

The status of this service request is:

In order for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to resend an Approval Notice that was not returned to our offices, it is necessary to complete a Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, along with the correct fees and original signature.  When requesting a duplicate approval notice, please be sure to fill in your receipt number in Part 3, Other Information, Question 1 of Form I-824.  After the application is complete, please file it according to the filing instructions listed under Form I-824

NOTE: A replacement Employment Authorization Document (EAD) card, Permanent Resident Card, travel document or any other USCIS authorization document will not accompany the duplicate approval notice.
