Overview: Fortinet is developing a powerful platform that combines the security for the datacenter and carrier solutions that enables organizations to efficiently manage, scale and secure their networks. This QA Engineer will be part of this exciting development and will be working with a strong technical team that has experience delivering the solutions to large carriers. Participate in building a High-end firewall platform for data centers/Carriers that provides high throughput packet processing to the service provider using latest networking technologies. Our ideal candidate is willing to learn new skillsets and take on challenges
Job Duties:
•        Coordinate with other QA engineers (who are typically performing manually testing) to convert the existing manual test cases to automation test cases
•        Review and analyze the automation test results
•        Execute functional/performance testing(Ixia or Spirent) on products using a combination of manual and auto-testing techniques
•        Focus on chassis based Fortigate firewall software release test
•        Create, maintain and execute test specifications and test cases as well as scripting
•        Reproducing and troubleshooting the bug with developer
•        Work closely with developers to ensure defects are correctly fixed
•        Passionate, motivated and always willing to learn and explore new technologies
•        Good team player
Job Experience Required:
•        1 year hand-on experience in Python scripting
•        Knowledges with Bash, Python, Tcl, RESTful
            •        Operations experience in Ixia or Spirent avalanche environment is essential
•        Operations experience in Linux environment is essential
•        Advanced understanding of Routing and Switching technologies, as well as TCP/IP
•        Demonstrated ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot software
•        Ability to work on tasks under tight time constraints
•        Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate well with other departments
Preferred Skills
•        Experience in using Robot Framework, Pytest, Selenium is a huge plus.
•        Have any certification in networking, system administration like CCNP/CCIE, RHCSA and etc, is a plus.
•        Experience in Git, Jenkins, Json/YAML, ESXi, KVM, Docker, is a plus
Educational Requirement:
•        Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
•        Master’s Degree preferred
