OPT TX delay 学校OIS （Pitt) 回复

TX的状况已经无需赘述了，给学校OIS发了邮件。不得不说Pitt的OIS还是很给力，之前I-20当天就给approve并寄出，第二天UPS就给寄到家了。这次也是隔了两天就给了回复。提到希望能扩散消息，提供更多的case report，并且他们有途径联系USCIS。
希望地里的小伙伴能抱团联系各自学校的OIS。如果刚好有Pitt的小伙伴也可以联系我，我也在学校微信群里发了消息。

“Hi Janel,

Thanks so much for reaching out to me about this. I am so sorry about this situation. As you know, you are not alone. We are definitely aware at OIS that this is going on and huge delays are happening around the country. What we are doing now is working to report these extreme delays as we hear about them with as much specificity as possible. We have a place online accessible to staff where we can report things like this.

Also, there are a few things besides the receipt number that can show some degree of progress on processing applications. One of those things is checking if the check sent was cashed through your banking system. Also, sending packages with tracking numbers can also be helpful so that you can see if they've arrived at USCIS. I'm sure you know about some of this, but I just want to be sure that folks are aware of some other ways to check some part of the status of their applications.

If your check hasn't been cashed yet, can you give me a timeline of your application so far? Please let me know the date you sent the application. If you know of other Pitt students in the same situation as you, could you also ask them to send me the same?

With this information I can create more systematic reporting of the scale of the problem and hopefully that, along with other international services around the country, will at least show the scale of the problem. I may also be able to specify the lockbox that you mentioned as well as being the particular problem as you say.

I know this is such a frustrating situation and international students can feel powerless to do anything regarding their cases. We are definitely going to try our best to at least report as many of these cases we hear about as we can and hope for the best.

我的7001表也没人回复， email了congressman不知道会不会有回复， 只能尽力而为了。 但愿TX Lockbox新年能良心发现：）

诶，真的太坑了，我好像也是投诉了之后才批的。这些事情不能等，有些stuff就是压根不care你死活。

你们学校很supportive啊 我们学校就是让等啊

谢谢分享！相信学校是我们一边的，发动大家积极给学校反映问题。如果很多学校 complain USCIS 会知道的。
