Two PhD positions are open for the 2021 Spring Semester and the 2021 Fall Semester in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO USA. The selected candidates will work with Dr. Jiangnan Zhang (personal webpage: http://web.mst.edu/~zhangjiangf/) with full financial support. Candidates with a degree in electrical engineering（包含通信工程，电子信息工程，电子科学与技术，自动化与控制，电气工程等专业）, computer science, applied mathematics, statistics or other related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
The research will be focused on the general area of signal processing, communications, machine learning, data science, and ai-driven technologies, as well as their cross-disciplinary applications to cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, sensor networking, and blockchain.
