The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is seeking a Ph.D. student to work under the guidance of Dr. Wen Zhang on the environmental application of nanotechnology. Specifically, the project will focus on developing a novel photocatalytic reactor for simultaneous wastewater treatment and hydrogen production. The ideal candidate will possess a M.S. in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields, though exceptional B.S.-level candidates may also be considered. Past laboratory experience in environmental engineering is preferred.
