Tencent Games is looking for Site Reliability Engineer Interns with proven SRE/DevOps experiences. This team owns the system reliability, scalability and development productivity in Tencent Games. The position will have the opportunity to work on many popular mobile games on a wide array of topics. Site Reliability Engineers in Tencent Games are responsible to build and operate hybrid cloud infrastructure environments and related platforms using best practices, develop softwares and systems that help increase overall site reliability, performance and productivity.

Responsibility:

• Owning and improving the scalability and reliability of our existing products and underlying infrastructure platform
• Contribute to various SRE Automation project that help standardizing and optimizing the operation workflow
• Support services between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics to measure and monitor availability, latency, and overall system health
• Work both independently and collaboratively with other engineers, designers and product managers to accomplish complex tasks that deliver demonstrable value to Tencent Games
  

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor or M.S. in Comp Sci, Engineering, or another related field required; Advanced degrees preferred
• Experiences with Shell/Python/Golang/JavaScript, or other scripting programming language
• Experiences with mainstream databases, such as MySQL, Redis, NoSQL databases
• Experiences with source code management and version control, modern CI/CD techniques
• Knowledge of network and security
• Knowledge of mainstream cloud providers, such as Tencent Cloud/Alibaba Cloud/AWS/Azure
• You are a passionate self-starter, like challenges and detail-oriented.
• You are comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects.
• Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship/co-op
