分享一个自己写的要求USCIS公布H1B抽签结果和对抗abuse行动的帖子

大家好，这是我写的要求USCIS公布抽签结果和对抗H1B abuse的帖子。抛砖引玉:

USCIS: Please publish the FY2022 H1B lottery statistics. In addition, please do necessary steps to avoid H1B lottery abuse.

To whom it may concern,

. ----As a current H1B worker in Hi-tech industry that is one of the most important contributor to U.S. Economy, I have seen many of our colleagues became victims of H1B abuse in FY2022. According to more and more confirmed information, many overseas individuals who are not qualified for H1B applications committed H1B abuse in the FY2022 H1B lottery process to unfairly compete against legitimate H1B applicants in the Hi-tech industry.

Most of those individuals who never went to the U.S. each used multiple bogus consulting companies to file H1B lottery applications on their behalf to gain unfair advantage against ordinary H1B applicants whom mostly completed their degrees in the U.S, This action not only unfairly hurt the chance of normal H1B applicants of getting an H1B, but also abused the H1B lottery system that is supposed to provide a fair opportunity for all qualified H1B applicants to work and contribute to the U.S. economy and technology. Moreover, Hi-tech companies also suffers from such abuse because their qualified employees may be deprived of the opportunities that originally belong to them. In the long run, such abuse will hurt the high education in the U.S., as many of them will not be getting as many international students as before because they will never get a chance to find career opportunities in the U.S. legally after their graduation.

First of all, USCIS please be honest to the public and publish the real FY 2022 H1B statistics to show how severe the H1B abuse is.

Then, USCIS, please find ways to disallow not qualified individuals to file multiple applications by different bogus consulting companies and gain unfair advantage against legal and qualified H1B applicants.

我这个已经提交了并且留了自己的真实姓名和邮箱。希望大家再多多去那个地里的公众号文章留的那个链接去写评论。另外我们可能要多多寻找潜在的盟友比如高校什么的一起去面对这个问题。

感谢分享！有几点想法：1. 不一定是high tech，其实有很多不是做和IT有关的小伙伴也受牵连了，所以不一定强调high tech；2. 其实第二段不用强调他们甚至没来过美国和之后有写到关于对吸引国际生的影响，因为H1B本来就是个VISA，就是让美国以外的人来美国工作，我们通过留学然后OPT抽签，其实不是完全按着这个VISA的初衷，只是法律上我们算是外国人并且因为绝大多数人都这么做所以习以为常，再加上uscis不可能care任何和美国教育有关的利益； 3. 关于要求uscis公布抽签被abuse的数据，这个对uscis有点难因为即使uscis很站我们这边，他也真的不知道公布什么或者不公布什么，所以不如直接ask公布今年多少份电子注册； 4. 真的很严格来说，abuse其实没有真的confirmed的证据，都是网上的截图，并且“abuse”本身就不违法，例如公司说你们干活累了可以休息一下，但不要abuse这个policy，然后一个人一天每工作15分钟就休息半小时来abuse这个policy但他也能说我真的15分钟就累并且真的要休息半小时，理论上来说不算违例，就看公司怎么看这个abuse。而uscis的看法，通过今年还不公布人数，就知道……
