ggplot: available now both in R and Py(https://github.com/yhat/ggplot), looking identical and have pretty much identical syntax. the Py one is still under active dev.

R: md, knitr, pretty easy to generate impressive looking html and js slides

谢谢楼主！我7月份要去美国读master program in DS， 本科只有比较弱的数学和统计背景。最近想听 coursera 的课补充背景，看了你的must have，但是我现在还是入门级，你写的很多东西都不懂。请问大家要想学到精通， 至少可以胜任相关领域的工作，需要多长时间的学习和实践？有必要读DS的phd么？

本科统计学的马马虎虎，graduate level也没好好学统计倒是学了概率论之类的，请问有什么好的资源是可以好好补一下统计的嘛？

已经在跟stanford的open course Statistical Learning了……
