小弱化学PHD求定位~论坛申化学的比较少吗？？？

我认识一个去年申到了普渡物理phd的，他说gre没用，但是普渡控sub，化学系 ...

化学系的GRE显示是not required...然后也没看到有提到SUB额，我估计门槛肯定很高。ESSAY是在网申系统里面有一个额

刚看了下物理系的。。。要求狂多啊。。。化学系的基本没什么卡申请的要求。。。

是申奖学金要essay？
有注明要求吧？
比如写一篇什么样描述什么的essay？
如果是这样可能就是要求另外写的essay

嗯，有要求的

All applicants wanting to be considered for a Purdue University Doctoral Fellowship, David M. Knox Fellowship, or George Washington Carver Fellowship are required to submit a diversity essay. Recipients of these fellowships are students who have received a degree from an accredited U.S. high school, demonstrate superior academic achievements and abilities, and submit a diversity essay. The diversity essay should be 500 words or less responding to the following statement:

a. Name of U.S. High School, City, State, and Zip code

b. Describe your leadership, work experience, service experience, or other significant involvement with racial, ethnic, socio-economic, or educational communities that have traditionally been underrepresented in higher education, and how these experiences would promote a diversity of views, experiences, and ideas in the pursuit of research, scholarship, and creative excellence.

但是据说是美国学生才需要写，但是我之前看有人申ECE，小秘说，都要写

GRE scores are not required for admission. However, some internal fellowships require these scores.  You may include unofficial reports in your packet or have official scores sent directly to us.
