My name is XXOO, I am a Chinese student.
Recently, I have been receiving email from your school about invitation to apply.
Actually I finished my applying job and most of programs I applied is master of science in statistics.
But, your school’s UMSI PhD program looks great and I know that the jobs for students graduated from this major is very good.
Meanwhile, I am very interested in studying in UMich.
But, I have a background in finance. With Toefl XX, GRE:XXOO. I have little research experience in this field.
I am not very confident that I will be admitted.
My final exam is coming, so I do not want waste my time to write a research of interest, personal statement to a school that I will not be admitted.
If there is a good chance that I will, I will be very happy to apply.
