OR OM summer research opportunity/Ph.d program

大家好，来宣传一下我们系的OM OR Phd项目。我们是帝国理工商学院的OM组(链接)，是一个很新的系，氛围超级好，科研水平个人觉得是comparable to US top 15商学院的。国内感觉整体对英国的商学院了解度比较低，所以伦敦地区还有牛剑的business school的phd program申请的国内大陆的本科生都很少。当然这一两年很高兴看到有很多国内的同学来申请我们系。我们系这边算是OM OR的方向，每年招2-3个phd，在这里做一个宣传，希望大家多多了解多多申请。下面是我们两位年轻老师的一个本科生科研的宣传，我们计划这个暑假带1-2个本科生做一个暑期科研，为了保证我们能有足够的commitment，我们同一时间不带太多的同学，欢迎大家来了解。

Summer Research Opportunities
Professor Zhe Liu and Professor Xiaocheng Li at Imperial College Business School (ICBS), Imperial College London, invite applications for (remote) summer research in the areas of design, pricing, and control of marketplaces such as sharing economy and online markets. We look for approaches including modelling, theoretical and data-driven, using potential tools drawn from operations management, game theory, optimization, stochastic modelling, revenue management, econometrics and statistics.
Qualifications:
1. Will apply for Ph.D. programs in OM/OR/IE (preferably Fall 2021)
2. 12-week commitment to the research project during the summer and/or the fall
