香港理工PhD/RA/PostDoc in Smart City/OR/OM/Data

Dr. Kai Pan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies at the Faculty of Business of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), is looking for a highly motivated Ph.D. student starting in Fall 2022. Research Assistant / Research Associate / Postdoctoral Fellow applicants are also invited to start immediately (check https://www.polyu.edu.hk/hro/postspec/20080605.pdf).  The successful candidates are expected to conduct cutting-edge research on data-driven optimization and decision-making under uncertainty with potential applications in smart city operations, energy market, supply chain, and transportation. Competitive financial support with a full scholarship will be provided. Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme can be one option (check https://www.polyu.edu.hk/gs/hkpfs/) for Ph.D. applicants, as otherwise a departmental scholarship will be provided.

Candidates with Industrial Engineering, Math, EE, CS, or other relevant backgrounds will be considered, and an earned Master's degree is preferred. Strong mathematical background and programming skills will be a plus. Previous research experience in the related areas will also be a plus.

RA或者postdoc Position一直都有。PhD position的话现在还不清楚，要等明年暑假再定。
