In response to your inquiry, the status, "Pending", indicates your application has been referred to your intended graduate program for review. After review is completed, graduate programs determine if an applicant's request for admission is approved or denied, and if financial award will be offered. Graduate & Professional Admissions is then notified and updates the applicant status page at: http://appstatus.osu.edu. Please note the applicant status page will indicate the academic decision; i.e., approved or denied; but any financial award granted will be communicated by your graduate program. Additionally, since graduate programs make these decisions, inquiries regarding when decisions are announced should be sent directly to your graduate program.
