Medical Imaging PhD Students RA Positions in EECE

PhD student (RA) positions are available in my Imaging and Informatics Lab at UMass Lowell. Our lab is well funded by both NIH and NSF. The students are expected to develop tomographic reconstruction algorithms using deep learning techniques for x-ray CT and nuclear medicine, as well as other applications. In my lab, the students have three options for the PhD program: (a) Electrical Engineering, (b) Computer Engineering, and (3) Biomedical Engineering. At this moment, our PhD programs at UMass Lowell waive the GRE exam till Jan 22, 2022, and only TOEFL or IELTS is required. The start date can be Spring (later January) or Fall (Later August) of 2022.
