约巴黎签H1b暂时未果

着急找地方处境来recapture几周时间，因为巴黎有朋友可以接待就试试约巴黎的面签。填好了DS160，创建了巴黎面签的账号，结果没刷出来appointment。预约页面问是不是在来自本地，我回答是，因为计划签证那时候已经会在欧洲待一段时间了（如果我能拿到申根签证）。这样做会不会有信息不实的risk？
请教大家，是不是领事馆每隔一段时间才会放出来一批？所以得经常刷？我填的预计返美日期是7月20日。

Update:
Visa Interview on 6/11:
The VO asked me to show the original copy of I-797A. She seemed serious about background check.
Her questions: 1) WHY do you go to the US; 2) (after carefully reviewing my education experience on her computer) Where did you study in China? For what major? Did you study science in China? What is your Master's degree in the US? What is your PhD study? (I have two MS in the US.)
She approved the visa after interview.

Passport retrieved on 6/20 at MAILBOX.Inc.

Tips for the day of interview:
You can arrive at the Embassy before time of your appointment. I was almost one hour early, and joined the line 45 minutes before. The line formed across the street of the embassy. It took me 15 minutes in the line to get to the document and security check.

I went to the embassy location on the afternoon before the interview day. No line was formed so it could be no interviewed scheduled for afternoons.

There was no inquiry about TCN/French residence when I made the appointment. The VO asked what I would go to the US for, and carefully "examined" my education background. She wanted to know my education was not in pure science.

Sorry for late update. I passed. No AP but the VO carefully examined my education experience to rule out if I had education in pure science in China and studied pure science before my current (quantitative analysis/social science) job.

汇报一个DP。 今天中午巴黎刷到一个10月25日的appointment，然而在我犹豫的那一刹那这个appointment就没了。也许是被预定了。
据我们学校的OIS说，有同事申请巴黎的H1b，最早只约到9月，不知道这个人有没有成功加急（expedited?)。

我自己的经验是 没事就多刷

7月还很远 刷刷会有的
还可以直接申请expedite appointment 被批准的话一两天内就有邮件通知 不过这个功能只能用一次

谢谢建议。好像这个功能需要有个已经约上的时间才能申请加急。我的主要难点是办申根签证缺少巴黎领馆的预约确认函。有点无奈啊😯

那你就先约一个，先约上然后有任何更近的slot出现你都可以改，不限次数。等你确认了想要interview的时间，就expedite。

不好意思 没看见LZ说是完全约不上任何时间slot 那就只能建议多刷…

Hello!请问你是先交了钱选一个时间很久以后的appointment，还是在那个预约界面上疯狂刷，看到有近期的slot才付钱的呀？我现在看到最近的appointment都是2023年1月的了

I 疯狂刷 every few hours. Only if there is a slot available can you pay.
