I received IIT's ad today. There is an initial advisor in application system. How do you talk with your initial advisor and request financial aids?

因为是第一个结果 所以当时底气比较足 直接说 my family cannot support my future graduate study in IIT and I am wondering whether I have the opportunity to work as TA or RA such that the cost can be covered.....

直接和老师说吧 而且那个initial advisor是可以换的  那个不要 还能去继续套另外的教授
