被开拿severance package还能领失业金吗

虽然还没被裁，但是已经嗅到了要被开的味道了。

所符合的条件：
1. 曾在加拿大从事有效的工作;
2. 连续7天无工作无工资;
3. 在工作期间支付过EI；
4. 有意愿并且有能力继续工作，并且在申请期间持续寻找新工作；
5. 不是你自己的过错丢了工作

然后说是以下两种情况不能领：
1. 自主选择离开你的工作
2. 被解雇

不知道pip符不符合条件？

被解雇不能领失业金？ 那这失业金的意义是啥。

一般需要看ROE的代码，pip应该不属于那种因过失给公司带来损失的code但很难说给的是不是一定能拿EI的lay off。总之楼上讨论的quit是不能拿的，因为属于意愿不工作了。
尽快找下家更好，每个月有任何来源的收入都会使得EI实际到手会减少。

呃打错。楼上说的被解雇的情况也是要看原因的。
至于quit基本上确定拿不到EI的。

被layoff了可以。而且severancr期间不能领失业金。说白了就是给你最低保障的。
