Prof. Hopkins:
My group is looking to hire multiple Ph.D. students starting as early as January 2023 (Yes, if the candidate is strong enough, I can make a case to admit them to UCLA early as long as I have funding to cover them). If you have a Bachelors and preferably a Masters degree with a high GPA (>3.7) from a reputable university and you're interested in applying, please send your CV (with all GPA's clearly listed) to hopkins@seas.ucla.edu with a small email (a few sentences) explaining your current situation. Industry experience is also desirable but not essential. Fluency in English is critical. I will unfortunately only be able to respond if you make the cut for an interview.
Research topics include: Compliant medical devices, micro/nano additive fabrication, and optical tweezers

GSR Position for an NIH-Funded Compliant Medical Devices Project:
Professor Jonathan Hopkins's Flexible Research Group is advertising for a new GSR opening. The research involves the creation of a compliant medical device that eliminates bedsores. The project will begin immediately after finding and hiring the right candidate. Candidates should be UCLA Ph.D. students.
