Meta Gives Thousands of Workers Subpar Reviews
The performance ratings may signal that more job cuts are on the way

Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc. META -0.39%decrease; red down pointing triangle gave thousands of employees subpar ratings in a recently concluded round of performance reviews, a signal that more job cuts may be on the way, people familiar with the matter said.

The company also cut a bonus metric, the people said, one of several steps senior executives are taking after Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg declared 2023 would be a “year of efficiency.”

Meta’s leadership expects the ratings to lead more employees to leave in the coming weeks, the people said. The company will consider another round of layoffs if not enough depart, the people said.

这一段是很关键的，如果走的人不够多，再来一轮，反正横竖要走人。

往年拿了MM问题也不大，下个half再拿个MA/EE就安全了。现在WSJ的意思明显是这些MM活不到4月了，几周之内就会被要求走人。这一波Meta又能干掉五六千人，而且还不是layoff，不用给severance不用提前发股票不用6个月cobra。而且现在从meta离职的大概率都是performance有问题。这么看我好羡慕11/09的那些人。

这是真的吗？这个挺狠啊，一半的manager要被干掉了

10%的MM算正常吧。应该没有加大比例。

那第二轮meta出门找工作的人不就被其他其他公司的recruiter知道是因为performance而走人的了？
