1/ 字节整体估值缩水至$220B：ByteDance was valued at about $220 billion in a recent private-market investment by Abu Dhabi AI firm G42, Bloomberg News reported separately. That’s a significant discount to the $300 billion that TikTok’s owner set during a share buyback program last year.
2/ TT如果剥离的话，估计约为$40-50B，目前内部正在讨论：TikTok’s US business could be worth $40 billion to $50 billion, using current social-media multiples and TikTok’s higher top-line growth vs. Meta, Snap and Pinterest, we calculate after Bloomberg News reported TikTok’s leadership was discussing possible separation from ByteDance.

U.S. Threatens Ban if TikTok’s Chinese Owners Don’t Sell Stakes

The Biden administration is demanding that TikTok’s Chinese owners sell their stakes in the video-sharing app or face a possible U.S. ban of the app, according to people familiar with the matter.  The move represents a major shift in policy on the part of the administration, which has been under fire from some Republicans who say it hasn’t taken a tough enough stance to address the perceived security threat from TikTok, owned by Beijing-based ByteDance Ltd.

The Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S., or Cfius—a multiagency federal task force that oversees national security risks in cross-border investments—made the sale demand recently, the people said.

TikTok executives have said that 60% of ByteDance shares are owned by global investors, 20% by employees and 20% by its founders, though the founders’ shares carry outsize voting rights, as is common with tech companies.

It wasn’t immediately clear what the next step by the U.S. would be, and the people familiar with the matter say a resolution could be months away. TikTok’s chief executive, Shou Zi Chew, is scheduled to appear before the House Energy and Commerce Committee next week to address lawmakers’ questions on the security issues.

楼主要不要先拿个TT的offer，再来考虑是否加入TT？

那也要先看值不值得投入这个effort去面试啊，这不是合理逻辑吗？

TT如果被剥离的话，ML算法带不带过来？
不带的话，所有东西重新算一遍，开销非常大，而且效果也肯定不好，毕竟国内的模型都是用几亿日活堆年数弄出来的。
没有那个TT肯定没现在这么好
带的话，国内会同意么？上次川普搞事我记得这就是其中最大的分歧之一。

问题是，中国政府会允许tt被剥离或者卖吗？

tt不属于中国公司吧？中国zf应该没有权限。
但是会不会跟母公司施压就是另外一回事了。
不过要是中国zf敢施压，那就真的给美国政客把柄了，坐实了窃取data的罪名了：）
