纽约州立大学石溪分校招招收博士生(智慧城市/机器学习/灾难响应)

Dr. Susu Xu is an assistant professor at the Department of Civil Engineering and Department of Computer Science at SUNY Stony Brook, focusing on smart sensing and machine learning for urban computing. Our group collaborates with researchers from Stanford University, USGS, NASA (see more details in susu-xu.com)


We currently have funded Ph.D. positions in:
(1) Mobile crowdsensing network platforms for efficiency and fairness of urban systems;
(2) Multi-modal and physics-informed machine learning algorithms for urban computing;
(3) Probabilistic graphical modeling and remote sensing techniques for rapid disaster response.

Students are expected to be
1. Strongly self-motivated
2. Proficient in Python or other programming languages
3. Experienced in one of the below skill sets: signal processing, statistics, optimization, remote sensing, machine learning, or smart mobility
