VO: Which school are you going to and what are you going to study?
Me: I'm going to Georgia Institute of Technology and I'm gonna study operations research.
VO: Ph.D., huh?
Me: Yes.
VO: What kind of operations research?
Me: Well, it's kinda tricky. It‘s a sub-field of mathematics and I will focus my study on optimization.
VO: Optimization on what?
Me: I don't have a specific background yet, so I'll mostly focus on theoretical methodologies.
VO: Sounds pretty confident ...... XXX （没听清）, study hard.
