学精算还是金数？

美国本科精算金数差别不大，但是精算不用读研主要靠考证，金数找工压力比较大。学这两个专业的利弊各是什么？

Go with statistics with some applied maths and CS instead.

Actuary不用major, 反正都是考證, 你北美制, 讀了bachelor of actuarial science一樣是要考同類的專業試. 反正只是精算相關的大概就只有一門theory of interest, 兩門life contingency, 再加一到兩門loss model之類, 其他精算要的都是很常見的stochastic and statistics. 用不著讀特別專門的學位 (除非學系有專門的network and career service with great placement to actuary role in insurance company, locally)

Financial Maths是用不著本科major的, 真做quantitative的, 就算不要你phd也要你有個MFE. get yourself with good applied maths and stat and a high GPA, with a solid academic record  (and some internship) and fight for a good MFE / PhD才是正途. finance之類的課, 最上兩三門就夠了.
