求问老师发的这封邮件怎么回，我该咋办。。

Dear xxx,

Thank you for your letter and inquiry. Normally, I would be happy to invite you to do some experiments in the lab. In the past we received government funding to work on biofuels as part of a team of researchers. However, the leader of that team is no longer getting funds and we had to stop our part of that work. At present, we are not doing any work on algal lipid extraction and analysis. Because the HPLC and Mass Spectrometer are expensive to operate and maintain, I shut off the system and we are not growing algae. We are seeking to get funds to continue this work but at present, we do not have any funds for this and there is not much funding here for algal biofuel work of any kind.

While I would normally be happy to have you visit and do some experiments here, it does not seem worthwhile for you to visit at the present time. If our funding situation were to change, I will invite you to come.
