5/10 F1北京 返签被Check phd in chemical engineering

个人感觉被check是个挺平常的事情，只是需要等的时间长一些。

预约的时间是早上10：45的，但是自己早上9：15就到了，然后给门口的保安出示一下我的护照，他问我是几点的，我说10点的，就放我进去了。由于进出的比较早，就排到了10：15队中，其实根本没有人管的，大概到了10：45才排队进入房间，然后在房间里面进行安检。我没有带手机之类的电子产品，所以不用查包，直接过安检门就好了。

就这样到达了签证大厅。
1。排队交表：ds160确认页，中信银行缴的签证费的收据（一联要贴在ds160确认页的下方，另一联要出示给工作人员看），servis fee收据，i-20，返签的需要成绩单。四人一组，然后这个顺序也是按手印和面签的顺序。
2。按手印：只要跟着大部队，四个人一组去按手印就好了。很简单
3。面签：从按完手印后排对旧有1个多小时才轮到和vo面签
4。面签过程：

VO: HOW ARE YOU DOING?
ME: FINE, THANK YOU. HOW ARE YOU?
VO: I AM DOING WELL.
ME   passing all my document to him
vo: type sth onto his computer and asked " which school are you going"
me: georgia tech
vo: what's your major?
me: chemical engineering
vo: are you going to get a  master degree or phd degree
me: phd degree
vo: you are doing a return-visa application, aren't you
me: yes, sir
vo: looked my old passport and visa " Ic, you went to XXXX university (in US). I bet that XXX city (my current city) is much better than XXX city (my previous university's location)"
me: yes
vo: How do you like XXXX city?
me: I like it alot, then blah,blah...
vo: looked my transcripts "Wow, GPA 4.0, you must be a very bright student."
me: thanks (smile)
vo: Could you pass me your resume/study plan/and your advisor information?
me: pass them to him
vo：When are you returning to US?
me: May 28th
vo: Looked the calendar....Hmm, is there anyway you can return to US a bit later than that?
me: I couldn't. I only have three weeks vacation.
vo: We need to do a background check and it would take three weeks. You should send an email to your advisor to explain the situation. This is just a regular check and I am sure your advisor would understand this.
me: Is there anyway I can get my visa sooner than three weeks?
vo: Three weeks is an average time.
me: Do you recommend me to change my airplane ticket soon?
vo: Hm, you'd better wait until the day gets closer. It might possible the check would be completely in less than 3 weeks. Have a great break!
me: Ok, thank you very much

出了使馆，还要去那个邮局去填写是自取护照还是邮寄护照。今天的人特别的多，我等了足足1个小时，到了2点半才把事情完全的弄完。

现在要考虑改机票的事情了，还要尽快地给老板发个email解释一下，还有就是希望rp暴发，能够在3个星期内拿到护照

我的1000visa从check到clear护照到手只用了10天左右的时间，相信你的visa也会很快滴！

请问stephanie，你是不满足中信的递签规定么？不是说返签如果可以递签必须递签么？

我也只有3周假……愁%……

check的时候完全没问你的方向神马的，听到phd就直接check了？囧……
