4月30日沈阳PhD水果

本人PhD在读第三年，五年没回国。本科也在美国读的，上次签证是在2010年大二读大三时回来签的，所以过期很久了。回来之前担心了好久，怕被check。。

29号晚上回到沈阳，30号早上8点15去签证。进去的时候因为没有带身份证，把美国驾照压在那里领了个visitor的牌子进去了。

人很少，大概等了两分钟就轮到我了。签证官是个白男。
Me: Hi, I want to renew my visa. I am a student right now.

VO: Oh, where do you go to study?

Me: Yale University, I am a third year PhD student.

VO: What do you study?

Me: Applied Mathematics.

VO: Can you explain how is your research about mathematics applied? What kind of application?

Me: Data analysis, dimension reduction blabla (同学跟我讲说要讲的通俗易懂，又不能讲的太敏感，所以什么high performance, big data, AI, deep learning之类的我都没说）

VO: 不满意，叫我具体讲

Me: 我给举了一个例子，讲了一会，发现他已经没有在听了，我就不讲了。。。

VO: Congratulations! Your visa has been approved! I am giving you this pink sheet, and it has the construction of blablalbla.

什么resume，老板的resume，CV都没看。I20也只看了第一页，貌似也不知道我暑假回去去实习的事情。
