关于套磁跟进

1.教授回复：Thanks very much for your note.  I will be considering new students for Fall, 2016, and looking directly at the pool of applicants.  For full consideration, I recommend you make sure to apply to the AEM department before December 15.
这个意思是不是就是她有招生的打算而且是有她决定是否录取？


2.Thank you for your interest in my research.  I do plan to take a student in this area and you may be a good candidate for that position.  However, I only admit students through the formal application process, which you can find more information about &&   I will start reviewing applications in January, so please feel free to follow up with me in January once your application has been submitted.  I will look at all applicants who are in my area or mention an interest in our work.  After I review the applications (in early 2016) I will then contact applicants for phone or Skype interviews.
她既然说了她是按照formal process来招生，那还有follow up的必要么？
