I support this extension.

Since the Countries such as Canada, the United Kingdom, New Zealand,and China are actively instituting new strategies to attract international students at the same time, it is very important for the United States to keep those smart guy to stay here. In this way, the STEM extension is the key point. If it is true, those talent guys can stay in this country for a longer time, and contribute more to the economy and science of the United States. It is obvious that if the economy is good, the unemployment rate will fall. If the statement is not passed at last, there is no doubt that the American economy will be effect a lot because lots of international staffs will have to leave the company, leave the country, which is not good for those companies, especially big companies such Apple, Google and JP Morgan. Then, the the unemployment rate will rise, which will affect the America people in the end.

So the stem extension is both good for Us citizen and international students.

The 24-month OPT extension is absolutely necessary!

Students need enough time to apply what they have learnt from school to the real work place.

It is impossible that US can attract so many foreign students without this policy. Part of the reason those foreign students are willing to pay the expensive tuition is because they are allowed to work in the US after graduation thanks to this policy.

Let us do it!
