今天收到公司HR关于OPT延期的Email，说推迟到五月10号

今天一早收到公司HR的邮件，说OPT延期deadline被延迟到五月10号，因为DHS收到太多comments。。

Hi all,

Unfortunately, there is no update on the STEM OPT Extension.    DHS received >50,000 comments on the proposed rule and they need to review them in order to create a new rule.  As a result, the Department of Homeland Security filed a motion requesting a delay for the STEM OPT termination deadline (2/12).  They requested a new deadline date of May 10, 2016.

We continue to watch this carefully and will provide you with updates as they become available.

I know everyone is growing very concerned on what this all means and we hope they will have it resolved quickly!

只是request，还没被批准呢
