UMN PhD Offer (CE and MSE) +拒掉邀请的visit没问题吧？

楼主申请的其他学校MSE有消息么，同申请MSE，没有消息等的好焦急。。。

我收到这个学校的Geography PhD offer,今天又收到邀请我去recruitment weekend的邮件。。。不想去啊。。楼主怎么拒绝这个邀请啊？求教。。。

邮件里面有说负责联系的faculty，我就直接回复的她

umn材料/化工phd绝对值得去大牛教授云集 3M就在隔壁 可惜小渣渣被umn本科化工折磨得体无完肤……好不容易熬到毕业不想再碰这个领域了......

我浙校友~~~~好厉害~~~感觉这个楼里面怎么这么多都申到了UMN~羡慕~~~

我也申请了他家MSE，上周问的时候说2月中旬做决定，小米说Thank you for applying to our MSE program for the PhD.  Your application is currently in review.  Decisions for most applications are made by mid-February and then some are put on a wait list until early April. As soon as the review is complete we will notify you.

至今没有消息，还是Awaiting for Program Decision...你也是这个状态么？你发邮件问小米，是他说在waitinglist？求交流。。。

我也是awaiting program decision...现在也是二月中旬了，感觉确实waiting list....

Thank you for applying to our graduate program in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota.   I am writing to let you know that your application has been placed on a wait list.    We understand that the deadline for accepting offers is April 15, and we will make every effort to notify you before early April.

Please note that this is not a reflection of your abilities.  It is simply a consequence of the very high quality pool of applicants that we had, and the limited number of offers we could make.  It is rather standard practice to keep a small number of qualified applicants on hold, with the possibility of making late offers of admission if space becomes available.
