收到UVA一封邮件，是说有funding么，感觉前后矛盾啊

刚收到UVA的一封邮件，没说录不录取，就扯了financial aid的事，后面一段又说没有，真心不懂啥意思。。求地里大神解答一下

We have received and reviewed yourapplication for the Masters of Computer Science at the University of Virginiaand are impressed with your qualifications.    The ComputerEngineering program receives a large number of applications but can only offerfinancial aid to a few.   However, we stillhave slots open for the Masters of Engineering program if you areinterested.  The Masters of Engineering (ME) in Computer Engineeringrequires a total of 30 credits, with a minimum of 24 credits of coursework.   The remaining 6 credits may be a combination of course workand supervised project, and the project may be collaborative.  Moreinformation about the curriculum is available here.

Again, the MEprogram is a self-pay program with no departmental support available. However, information about general University-wide financial aid options isavailable at Student FinancialServices or you may contact the SFS directly at mailto:sfs@virginia.edu.  

If you would like to be considered for oneof these remaining opening in the ME Program, please respond to this email assoon as possible.  We hope to make our final admission decisions withintwo weeks.

你之前申的应该是MS吧，意思应该是，给奖的MS不能录你，问你换个没奖的MEng答不答应。BTW，楼主到底申的是CS还是CE？为什么第一句说的是CS？

哦哦，谢谢啊，真是英语水平捉鸡。看了你的解释瞬间懂了！我申的CE，目测归CS管？
真没想到连UVA都拒了我，还列为保底校来着……

一楼正解，UVA的MS大部分都是带奖要做research的，Meng应该就录了

UVa今年录取标准很诡异的，拒了不少GPA3.8大神，录了好几个GPA3.0刚过的，patpat~楼主这条件不愁没有好学校啊
