official PhD offer from Stony Brook

Based on your background and interest, we thought that the PhD program, with its focus on research, may be more suitable for you than the master's program.

Note that admission to the PhD program is far more competitive and prestigious as compared to the master's program. Based on the strength of your application, we believe that you are well qualified. Nevertheless, a formal evaluation is still necessary. So, if you are interested in the PhD program, please let us know right away.
