Experience: Experienced Weare looking for an exceptional epidemiologist with experience or interest inDAGs, Bayesian Networks, marginal structural models and mediation analysis tojoin a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers and designers. Youwill help design and build predictive and causal modelsusing complex multidimensional longitudinal data with time-varying confoundersto help solve some of our most pressing issues in healthcare. You are: · Upfor the excitement of a continuous flow of new projects · Willingto try new things for the sake of learning and fun · Ableto work with multiple inputs from a variety of sources (scientific direction,technical direction, production expediency, client feedback) · Friendlyand courteous and good at finding ways to have fun under the pressure ofdeadlines · Passionateabout applying cutting-edge causal inferencemethods in epidemiology Requirements · M.S.in epidemiology, statistics/biostatistics, health economics with relevant workexperience; or Ph.D. with relevant post-graduate research experience or M.D.with MPH in epidemiology and relevant work experience. · Solidgrounding and interest in disease understanding: incidence, prevalence, riskfactors, natural history course, co-morbidities, co-medications, outcomemeasures. · Experienceworking with big data, electronic medical records, chronic disease epidemiologyand pharmcoepidemiology or health economics is a plus. · Experienceor interest in application of causal inferencemethods in epidemiology · Experiencewith statistical analysis of epidemiological studies · Knowledgeof one of the statistical programming languages.
