OPEN POSITIONS
1. I am seeking self-motivated students who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the area of electric power and energy systems. If you want to apply for a Ph.D. position, email me a copy of your resume including education background, a list of in-major courses and grades, overall GPA, relevant research/working experience, relevant publications, GRE score, and TOEFL score (for international applicants). 2.        I am also seeking self-motivated post-doctoral researchers in electric power and energy systems. Stipend may vary depending on qualification. For all positions, previous experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desired:

Modeling techniques to facilitate the analysis and design of complex, high-performance electric energy systems
Numerical analysis and computer aided design for electric machinery and power electronic devices and circuits
Electric machines and drives
Magnetic devices and materials
Power management for electric energy systems (e.g., battery-powered systems)
Renewable energy systems (e.g., wind, solar)
Wireless power transmission
Energy harvesting
Thermal management
