cmu的新ms计划,不知道有没有人发过

Dear Colleagues,

We're writing to tell you about a new master's program in Privacy Engineering that we have recently launched at Carnegie Mellon University and to ask for your assistance in identifying students who might be interested in applying.

The Master of Science in Information Technology—Privacy Engineering degree is a one-year graduate program for computer scientists and engineers who wish to pursue careers as privacy engineers or technical privacy managers. This first-of-its kind program responds to the rapidly growing need for technical privacy expertise in industry and government organizations. Privacy engineers work as part of multi-disciplinary teams. They have to understand technology and be able to integrate perspectives that span product design, software development, cyber security, human computer interaction, as well as business and legal considerations.

Please encourage students who might be interested in applying to visit the program website at http://privacy.cs.cmu.edu for more information. We also invite them to contact us or our program coordinator, Tiffany Todd <ttodd@cs.cmu.edu> for more information.

Our early application deadline is December 3, 2012 and our late application deadline is February 1, 2013.

是不是野鸡就很难说了~ 看你对野鸡的定义了吧.. 这至少是cmu的一个ms项目和安全有关的

CMU貌似还有个ETC的项目，学费也挺贵的60W一年，不知道是不是和这种类似？

我不是很清楚耶,但我觉得这种蛮适合当跳板的

cmu现有的项目中口碑差的有哪些？（相对academic ms,phd 来说)?

IIS（intelligent information system）怎么样？

LZ  我今年也收到这个项目的邀请了，想请问你一下 这个项目怎么样啊？出来是干什么的额。。能找到工作吗。。总感觉好奇怪
