Please be advised that your visa application is refused for administrative processing.  The Nonimmigrant Visa Unit will inform you as soon as possible when the processing is completed.  It is difficult to predict exactly how long it will take.  The processing time is normally three months.  However, the timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case.  We will continue to follow-up with our counterparts about the status of the pending review.  We understand your concern; however, we must comply with the current visa processing procedures of the Department of State.   We will contact you at the telephone number or, if you are not available, at the email address listed on your application.



Furthermore, applicants are strongly advised not to book their travel plans until AFTER receipt of the passport containing the visa. Visa issuance is not guaranteed, or the processing of your application might take longer than expected, so it is best to wait until after your visa arrives to book your tickets.
