【19 fall】Uconn 这个邮件是换biostat就录取吗？谢谢～

收到了UConn的邮件，说让我考虑换biostat，之前申的是stat，邮件内容如下：Thank you for applying to our Statistics MS application.  The admissions committee has asked me to contact you regarding our Biostatistics MS program.  After reviewing your application they feel the Biostatistics program would be a good fit for you.  STAT and BIST are basically the same but you can learn more on biomedical data analysis in BIST.

后来我问是不是stat已经被拒了，对方回复：
[size=14.6667px]We are close to capacity in the STAT MS program I would have to check again with the committee if they can admit you into STAT MS.  Given your career goals they felt you are better suited to BIOSTAT MS.   Let me know what you decide.

[size=14.6667px]然后现在不知道应该怎么继续回复，这个意思是[size=14.6667px]只是建议申请[size=14.6667px]biostat呢？还是已经录取biostat了，等我确认去不去呢? 因为楼主还在等女神校的消息，害怕回复了生统也不错，就是决定去了，所以现在都不敢回复QAQ，怎么办呢，求帮助谢谢～

Thank you for applying to our program.  At this time we are close to capacity for our STAT MS program.  We can add you to the waitlist but there is no guarantee we will be able to admit you, however we can admit you now into the BIOSTAT MS program.

我也觉得，随便回一个吧。Uconn无论是stat还是biostat都不太impressive

那uiuc吧。我uiuc统计系本科的，我是觉得很好啊。faculty很强人很nice
