来抱一个WL。貌似还没有看到BC的帖子

比较意外吧 原来都不知道phd也有wait list 目前boston的四个学校两个悲剧一个WL。。。
邮件如下

Dear Janice,

Thank you for your interest in the Boston College Chemistry Department and for your application to carry out Ph. D. studies here.  The admissions committee is indeed very excited about your application.  However, this year we received many more qualified applications than what we can readily accommodate.  Due to this occurrence, the department has created a wait list for very strong applicants such as yourself.  This status should in no way diminish the excellence that you have achieved during your undergraduate education for which we congratulate you.  Should circumstances change, you may be admitted from the wait list at a later date.


If you would like to remove yourself from this list, please contact dale.mahoney@bc.edu and your application will no longer be considered for admittance.  Thank you for considering the Boston College Chemistry Department.
