国内已有phd，申请出国读phd会被拒签吗

本人在国内即将博士毕业，在博士期间曾经申请J1签证到美国大学访学一年，之后感觉为了以后的科研发展，最好还是出国读个phd，外导也很鼓励我这么做，给我写了推荐信，帮我申请到全奖的phd。这次还是去之前访学的学校去读博士，应该继续同外导合作（之前合作了一篇工作论文，投稿中），不知道我这样的情况被拒签的概率有多大？谢谢各位大佬

今年续签现在还在AP，问题整理如下：

Vo: Give me your I20 and passport please.
Me; Here you are. I am here to renew my F1 VISA, the old one is expiring
Vo: Can I have your old passport?
Me: Here it is.
Vo: Which University are you attending?
Me: yyyyyy University
Vo: May I have your supervisor and your CV?
Me: Here it is.
Vo: What's your research?
Me: zzzzzzz (short answer), and this is my research proposal and supervisor's support letter.
Vo: Who provide sponsor for you?
Me: My parent, and I have tuition waiver that is renewable for 4 years.
Vo: Are you going to do TTTTTT (超级敏感的一个方向) in the future?
Me: No, but I want to focus on CS.
Vo: What's the application of your research? (没听清楚，让重复了2次，汗)
Me: Oh, it has very wide application domain, such as IoT。。（停顿了一会）。。。 but I think the most appropriate domain is agriculture (以前做过的方向).
.. Vo: This is your second PhD?
Me: Yes.
Vo: What do you want to do after your graduation?
Me: I want to go back to China.
Vo: Do what?
Me: Become a university professor.
Vo: (Typing......) We need to go through AP...... and it usually takes 4 to 5 weeks.

所以，我的理解是，PhD的申请，哪怕你是第二个都跟全新的PhD没有太大区别，但续签那天被现场气氛给吓到了，人超多，而且气氛比较紧张，同样是PhD^2，祝你多发Paper。

淡定，第一次签证的时候签证官会感兴趣你两个博士分别都要做啥。我的经历如下：

Me: Good Afternoon, Sir, This is my Passport and, the I20, I want to go to the xxxx University in FL.
VO: So, where are you from?
Me: xxxx University, currently.
Vo: You are speaking good English, how do you learn English?
Me: I went to the TTTTTT last year for two month.
Vo: Why do you want to visit TTTTTTT?
Me: Just to visit my friends.
Vo: What's your parents' Job.
Me: They are in xxxx hospital, and they are directors of xxxx and xxxx respectively. Do you need their documents?
Vo: Oh, I don't need them, that's fine. And may I have your admission?
Me: That's it.
Vo: Can I have your research plan and supervisors' CV?
Me: Here u are.
Vo: Did you bring your resume?
. Waral dи,Me: Of course.
Vo: Which field have you been working with?
Me: My current university?
Vo: Yes
Me: xxxxxxx
Vo: U are currently a PhD now?
Me: Yes, the PhD in yyyy University is my SECOND PhD.
Vo: Are you also working with xxxxxxx in yyyy University?
Me: No, but I focus on zzzzzzz
Vo: Ok, I think I have all the info I need, we need to go through AP, and it will take three to four weeks. I hope U can enjoy your stay in the US.
Me: Ok, thank.

没人说得出准确的概率，但是只要你的理由足够充分和合理，读第二个phd并不会导致被拒签

我一朋友有一个博士degree，然后美国那边正在读博士。跟VO说清楚你要第二个博士degree驱动力是啥，理由充分，就不会有问题。

专业是Economics，博士期间的成果都是中文期刊，而且感觉经济类博后position不是太多，嘿嘿，没办法呀
