Urgent - Call the Senate Judiciary Committee Immediately

This Senate Judiciary Committee will have a meeting on this Thursday, August 1. They are doing markup for legislation known as Asylum bill.

We have been informed that some senators in the Judiciary committee are trying to add the per-country bill (S. 386) to the Asylum bill as an amendment. If this happens, the S. 386 will pass the Senate without any hearing and discussion.

We should call all members of the Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, July 31, to stop this from happening. We only have one day, so please act immediately.

We need to have a unified message. Please call the following list and say:

"No per country amendments to asylum bill without a hearing"

If you are calling from another state and were asked to call your Senator, please mention that it is a very important topic which is being decided in the Judiciary Committee. Here is the list:

asylum bill是什么。。。这个bill就不需要投票么？
我刚又查了一下asylum bill是一个民主党极力反对的bill。。。之前Graham要debate但是民主党议员拒绝参加。。这种BILL就算能到参院floor那也是绝对过不了的，更别提到众院了。把S386跟这个BILL绑在一起，那就是给S386灌砒霜呢，版上应该高兴才对。。。

“If this happens, the S. 386 will pass the Senate without any hearing and discussion“ 这种危言耸听的话真的是，可能是存心为了制造恐慌情绪吧。。。

白人怎么不让白人来呢，让白人跟中国和印度一块排，他们同意吗？

印度人这次想让白人和他们一起排, S386不就是给ROW全部加上排期. 但是从另一个方面来说, 白人, 尤其是北欧和西欧那边的, 移民美国的数量不多吧. 所以总体上还是处于劣势.

。。。这新闻内容我是没看懂，sub committee有权让这个BILL不投票？？filibuster的程序都不走么？

这不是新闻，是support all of us 这个民间反s386组织得到的消息，有些参议员想把s386作为asylum bill的附加条款，他们意思是这样asylum bill通过，s386就可以一起跟着通过,而且不需要专门的s386讨论和听证。

去年budget没过 龟相把recess减少至1周

这次的budget gop内部分歧很大 所以有可能依然要缩减recess
