Google SDE new grad 全线wind down，过了HC也不move forward了

上个月中过了hiring committee，hr说接下来是pa match和svp review，一般都能拿offer
等了几个礼拜，今天打电话说今年headcount没了，已经给多了offer，不再move forward了，说过两周会有最后决定是否还有剩余headcount （估计是如果拒的人多），但是感觉凶多吉少


anyway, move on

我问了在seattle的recruiter，“Do you happen to know if the experienced hires with L3 software engineer position and new college graduates for L3 position share the same headcount? I've heard that the new grad have a tough time to find groups nowadays. I wonder if that will also apply to experienced hires that's placed in L3 as well. Thanks!“

”Great question - L3 engineers do need industry experience, so they are not the same as new grads. You do not need to worry about headcount :) ”
"Everyone has a different path to Google and I promise that you are on the right track :) We currently are not hiring new grads so there is nothing to worry about. "

貌似experienced hires跟new grad不share hc。但是我觉得recruiter的话有点misleading,因为new grad也是L3。。不过后来追问后确实又强调说了跟new grad不同

没有hc过了好几个月还是会给offer，不会reject的。

可能不共享HC，我在wind down之后过了电面然后HR帮我转成了L3社招……（？）我想说HR太看得起我了，我校招都过不了还搞社招

你team match了吗？我上周过了hc，也是没消息了

没有，填了gmatch表之后说不move forward了

我今天也收到hr电话了...但是我的hr说的好像没那么绝...只是说因为winding down not guaranteed to move forward 要再等几周才知道消息...不知道是不同hr说法不一还是什么...顺便想问下楼主几月份毕业啊

有人知道L3社招跟new grad共享HC吗

到年底有点严峻。。。

那这意思是连hc都不会开了？
