Hi XXXXX,

Hope this email finds you well. While we are still preparing the documents, I would like to share a piece of good news with you early. The department of XXXXXX XXXXXX is offering you admission to our PhD program. Congratulations!

We are in the process of nominating you for an award (Doctoral Recruitment Award), and we would need the following information from you: At this moment, have you received any competing offer from other universities?

Hope to hear from you soon. Meanwhile, if you have any questions, feel free to let me know. Congratulations again!

Cheers,
XXXXXXXXX
