问下, 我这个情况算是过了吗？

各位申过的朋友，

我对NIW状态更新不是很了解。我还没有收到I-140 approved的信。但是USCIS状态变成这样：

Case Was Sent To The Department of State
On April 10, 2020, we sent your case, Receipt Number XXX, to the Department of State for visa processing. You can find general information on Consular Processing by visiting our website at uscis.gov... The website will provide information on what to do next, who to contact, and how to inform us of any changes in your situation or address.

然后昨天收到领馆的信：
The National Visa Center (NVC) received the immigrant visa petition filed by X on behalf of
X from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. However, your case is not currently
eligible for further processing because there is an annual limit on the number of immigrant visas that the
Department of State can issue. For some visa categories, the wait could be many years.
This petition will be eligible for further processing when your priority date is earlier than the cut-off date for your
visa category. To learn what the cut-off date is for this petition, review the Visa Bulletin online at
usvisas.state.gov/visabulletin.
You will need the following information to determine your cut-off date:
 Country of Chargeability..CHINA - MAINLAND
 Visa Category...................E2 - PROFESSIONALS FOLLOWING ADVANCED DEGREES
 Priority Date.....................30SEP2019

这算通过了吗？

我是找律所申请的NIW，今天收到类似邮件。请问楼主，为什么visa category是E2 而不是 EB2/EB1这样的？
另外“your case is not currently eligible for further processing because there is an annual limit on the number of immigrant visas”是不是就是排期的意思？

你好David，虽然我这离拿绿卡还早，NVC都到了，可是I-140没有批，心里还是不放心。请问可能是什么原因呢？能不能需不需要去问下USCIS呢？

只能等着了吧。最近USCIS效率感人，I-140延迟感觉还挺正常的

多谢你的回复！那我这就再等几个月，反正离拿卡还有最少三四年了~

现在我的eb1b的140已经排到了，但是我的140的状态是，2020年1月30日被送到
Department of State for visa processing.
这是什么意思呀？
