微软将放弃其电子游戏流媒体服务Mixer，并让用户转向使用Facebook

微软在2017年收购Beam后将游戏流媒体平台改名为Mixer，但在2014年亚马逊收购Twitch后，一直在游戏流媒体平台中占据主导位置。疫情期间，很多Twitch用户在线观看别人打游戏，但Mixer用户增加并不明显。Mixer也并没有到达微软预期想呈现的效果，Mixer服务将持续到7月22日，之后此主页将会直接跳转至Facebook的网站fb.gg。Facebook和微软之间也看到了更多的合作机会，包括将向Facebook提供Project xCloud流媒体游戏服务。Facebook游戏主管Vivek Sharma也表示，Project xCloud可以帮助改变大家发现游戏的方式，可以在移动设备上实现Xbox游戏。此外，Facebook近年来也一直在扩大其在游戏方面的发展，希望找到除在线广告之外的新市场。
