Airbnb因要求房客向房东捐款而遭抨击

Airbnb推出了一种新功能，鼓励用户向以前曾住过的Airbnb的房东发送“kindness cards”和现金捐款。COVID-19让Airbnb的业务受到了重创，这几个月以来，房东们的收入减少了数十亿美元。Airbnb称所有捐款都会100%到达房东手中。这个捐款请求遭到人们的抨击，一位Twitter用户写道： “在这种时候，我不觉得我会帮任何人支付他的第二套房产的抵押贷款。”

The COVID-19 pandemic has tanked Airbnb's revenue, and the landlords who operate short-term rentals through the service have seen rent payments evaporate as people stop traveling.
