We are looking for a web developer interested in building and maintaining a large-scale e-commerce platform. Lucky Sky is a collection of small teams each working on projects within emerging tech spaces. This position is specifically for our e-commerce platform, iJiaBuy, but with the opportunity to be a part of other projects in the future.

You will first be working on our static pages used for marketing and signup, prelaunch. You will also be working with the app team to ensure our website and app provide the same user experience. After launch, many features will still be in development, and you will be bringing those features to life.

Website maintenance and updates will primarily be to the user interface and platform features - to be discussed once hired.

This is the perfect opportunity for entry-level developers or experienced developers that are looking for an entrance into the e-commerce space, provided you are a good match based on the following qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Personal or professional experience with HTML, Javascript, and CSS required.
.google  и- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science or similar.
- One year of development experience outside of college is preferred.
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese preferred
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS, Node.js, Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, Git, MySQL, and Redis are each a big plus
- Front end proficiency is required, and full-stack experience is preferred

INTERVIEW:

- During the interview we will discuss your experience with web development, as well as information on our current project and team.

- Please include your GitHub, portfolio, or a cover letter that talks about coding/dev projects you've worked on with/in your resume.
Rather than give a coding interview, we will focus heavily on

• if your projects have well-organized code and structure to be collaborative and scalable
• your ability to explain what you’ve built and why
• your experience learning and solving problems using documentation
