对的，其实有些人已经在国内有了3-8年工作经验，然后过来读研的，就像不少印度人一样。

国内其实很多人都面过fg 只是offer 都是contingency on h1b 一年 大部分人都过不来

我说是现在，在美国正在读研。或者即将毕业的，之前就有工作经验的人群。我这边就有五例，三个中国人，两个印度人，都有超过5年的工作经验，有三个都是在 IT行业，当然这个情况是真的有，但不多见。

是啊，不知道谁能@ 小编，可以改一下吗？晚上点开一看好几条反对delay的，仔细一读全是在论证支持按工资抽签。这是两条完全不一样的rule，小编看到的话和大家转达一下可以吗，下午那篇文章里写错rule了，有些人评论错地方了

大家好，我在写了一个支持proposed delay的comment，贴在这里跟大家分享一下思路，但请千万不要copy pasting！！不然看起来太假了lol。 另外再次友情提醒一下盆友们，这是个延期提案，所以你如果希望延期的话，开篇一定要写清支持延期。我看到好多comment是说反对提案的（其实是反对涨wage要求的，而不是延期），可能会造成officer的误解。谢谢。

I support the proposed delay of the new rule regarding the raise of the prevailing wage requirements for immigrant workers. There are 3 main reasons why I believe the delay should be implemented:

1. Losing skilled foreign workers or foreign workers with great growth potential in the US, especially in non-STEM areas, in the short term: Without the proposed delay, the new requirement will become effective on May 14th, 2021, putting millions of foreign workers who currently hold H1B visas in a difficult position where they would  either be required to seek for a higher-paying job in the short term or be deported from the US if unsuccessful. Many new graduates (with high school records, good ethics, great potentials) currently seeking education in the US who aspire to learn and pay back to the US society and economy, and even to stay and build a family, will now lose the opportunity. Similarly, many experienced and hard-working foreign workers in "disadvantaged" industries / regions, where it is innately difficult to meet the new prevailing wage threshold for certain industries / regions due to industry standards and / or living cost of the region, would face the same risk of not having enough time to transition to a new position thereby losing legal status in the US.

2. Losing foreign students that are willing to seek education in the US: Foreign students who planned to visit the US to study in the next 1-2 years will reconsider their decisions given the difficulty of finding a high-paying job in the US after graduation, making it even more difficult for the US companies and education institutes to attract talents from abroad.

3. Hindering diversification and competitiveness of the US demographic and economics in the long term: In the post-pandemic era, the US economy will need as much workforce as possible to drive up its economic output and strengthen its competitiveness. Losing foreign workers, especially those who have made great contribution to their companies, will only hinder the US in the long run.

Therefore, I hope you consider postponing the enactment of the new rulings so that there is enough time for foreign workers / new graduates to transition / repivoting their career choices. Thank you for your consideration.

这里面有好几个概念。简单来说，你的理解不对，绝大多数码农是不满足的。

1. 你的level 2 wage $97261这个数字应该不对。码农是个很大的群体，但是在h1b是要按occupation

您好，因为我查到的也是97261，所以想请教一下正确的数据在哪里查询😅

我已经留了至少三条，留言里有几个人把按工资排序拿H1B和涨工资线这两个提案弄混淆了，我写了反驳，告诉他们you are at the wrong place. 希望大家能多多留言支持延期，最好是让它黄了

大家快去评论，新规上路以后留学生的路走不下去了几乎。。。

已经留言并看到post了。要求fresh grad在短短几年跨wage level的涨工资不合理也不可能。就算是码农也不是人人都进大厂。
用wage level来粗暴衡量不合理。

我看之前公众号提到，美国法律似乎规定过不可以用这种方式来剥夺权利云云，但没找到原话在哪？
