套了一个老板以前的学生，现在是第一年AP，主页上写了招人欢迎联系。回复如下：

Hey xxx,

Sorry for the late response. Not sure if XXX’s(我老板) mentioned, but my wife and I recently welcomed a baby girl, so things are a bit hectic here. :)

Well, so yeah, you should definitely apply to the program. One of the things the admissions committee is looking for is research experience. If you could have a paper or two published or in submission, it would really help strengthening your app.

In regards to your research, given the problems with XXX, do you have some sort of intervention that you have thought of and want to test?

发Paper估计申请前来不及了，submission的话可能也要到明年，我打算实话实说我正在做这个项目，实验还在搞，paper写了一半估计要到明年才能发。
最后，第三段，我不太确定我的理解对不对，我的理解是他在问我对这个问题我有什么看法准备研究哪个方面？不知道对不对。我是不是该跟老板讨论一下再回复呢？谢谢。
